A sunny afternoon of hockey for U10s and u12s
Burgess Hill hosted their 2 local clubs, Mid Sussex and St Francis, yesterday afternoon at our annual Enid Saunders Tournament.
All of the teams were a mix of girls and boys with the emphasis on participation and FUN. A St Francis/Burgess Hill combination won the U10s tournament and Middies won the U12s.
Medals were awarded to the best player in each team and mini eggs presented to the players who showed the most sporting behavior.
Our Enid Saunders Stick is awarded to the Burgess Hill player who played outstandingly throughout all of the matches; this year it was awarded to Mog Clayson, with a special mention to the runner up Freya Firbank.
