hard fought game

A very hard fought game, despite the scoreline. It was 0-5 at half time with constant pressure on the defence of Kayla Sansom, Lucy Turner, Louise Johnson, Jules Zvenister, and Rose Griffiths. Despite some excellent saves from Perry Webber in goal, the opposition slotted home some well executed goals. The midfield of Honor Scotland, Evie Clayson and Chris McLellan worked tirelessly throughout.
In the second half, Hill were more coordinated and the forwards, Jane Amerio, Emma Bowles, Sophie Medland and Wendy Caddye created some good chances. Hill got their reward with fine goals from Scotland, McLellan and Amerio. However the well drilled Lewes forwards set about clinically increasing their goal tally right to the end.
