Burgess Hill 5th with only 10 players took on an very experienced squad of Southwick players.
Perry was awesome in goal and made many excellent saves. The backline of Sue, Dawn and Rose worked very effectively to thwart the Southwick attack on any occasions. The midfield of Kayla, Lucy T, and Anisha Maxwell never stopped running and tackling . The sustained effort of the forwards, Mairead, Jane and Katie ensured Southwick had to work hard for their victory. Hill had opportunities but in the end, the advantages of a full squad for Southwick proved too strong for this very resilient Burgess Hill team.
